Massachusetts has a history of breeding some of the angriest and heaviest bands in extreme music. Formed only earlier this year, Voidbloom are certainly no exception. Featuring drummer Nick Cates of MouthBreather, who also engineered the band’s debut EP, Rhode Islander Dan Wolfson, also of Parapraxis, as well as Bill Jackson and Howie Snow, respectively the vocalist and bassist of Shroud, the band brings 5 tracks of disgustingly heavy hardcore and mathcore with absolutely crushing breakdowns and dissonant, angular guitar lines.
