Having just recently played our 5th annual fest back in July and having just released their debut LP last year, Chicago’s Lower Automation are not content to rest on their laurels. Now the band are back with what is their 2nd full-length album, “Strobe Light Shadow Play,” and today we have the pleasure of bringing you an exclusive stream of the whole damn thing.
Channeling seminal post-hardcore greats like At the Drive, Drive Like Jehu, and The Fall of Troy, the band opt for a less “heavy” approach, instead favoring more shouted style vocals, jerky and stop-start riffs, and driving mid-tempo rhythms.
